Goals & Streaks for Door-to-Door Sales Reps | SayKnock

Set Your Number.
The App Keeps the Streak.

Everybody says door knocking is a numbers game. It is — but the number that matters isn't the one you hit on your best day. It's the one you hit on the day you didn't feel like it.

Two numbers, that's it

Doors a day, and leads from them.

A day off is a day off

It never breaks your streak.

Not to rank you. Not to report on you.

That's the whole reason Goals exists. One number to beat, and a record of the days you beat it — so on the morning you'd rather stay in the truck, the streak does the arguing for you.

Doors are the work. Leads are the point. You pick both numbers, and nobody else can change them.

One number, three horizons.

You set a daily goal. SayKnock works out the week and the month from it.

Today

50 doors

Your daily number, exactly as you set it.

This week

300 doors

50 × 6 working days. Mon–Sat by default.

This month

1,300 doors

50 × 26 working days in September.

Working days are a company-wide setting. Nothing weekly or monthly is stored, so when the month turns or the working week changes, every target re-derives itself.

How the streak works.

One rule, whether you're looking at a day, a week or a month.

You worked and hit your number

The streak grows.

You worked and came up short

The streak resets. This is the only thing that ends a run.

You didn't knock at all

Nothing happens. The day isn't scored, so it can't break anything.

That last one matters

SayKnock doesn't count a day you had no activity. It assumes it's a day you didn't knock, or took off — a Sunday, a rain day, a holiday, a funeral. It isn't scored at all, so it can't break anything. The same goes for a whole week or a whole month you took off: the streak reaches back past it.

And today never counts against you. It isn't over yet.

Managers suggest. Reps accept.

A manager or admin can suggest a daily number to a rep. It shows up on the rep's Goals tab and takes effect only if they accept it.

A rep can accept it, ignore it, or set their own number instead — higher or lower. A suggestion isn't a floor, and nobody can write a goal on someone else's behalf. A goal you didn't choose isn't a goal.
